Hey all you fabulous Freedom Gate folks!!! This is a great place to share things that are happening in your lives during our fast. We all want to know how God is bringing breakthrough in your lives. So, post something so we can all be encouraged to keep pressing through!
Here’s a pic of my precious son Luke Isaiah Bennett…he is a fulfillment of God’s promise and Ricky I prayed and fasted for him! He’s a reminder of God’s faithfulness in our lives. I love that we can now hold, kiss, and love on someone who is the substance of something that we hoped for (our faith). Luke is so real and tangible…and so is God’s love and His promises for us!

Awesome stuff. We’re really contending and believing for a financial breakthrough this year. We really feel like God is moving us to a place of Jubilee, where our mountains of debt are cancelled and removed from our paths..in Jesus’ name!!! God has already in this season of fasting begun to open some doors for this to come about SPEEDILY, and we’re still fasting and praying and declaring the complete fulfillment of these promises until they are totally fulfilled! God has always been faithful to take care of us no matter the circumstance or situation we’ve found ourselves in, and He’s proved again and again that His word is true…he won’t forsake us and leave us begging! Amen. We’re very excited for this next season and for ALL that God is doing and going to do in 2010!
I’m also just feeling really refreshed in my spirit man as of late and I love the charge we’ve been given to dream and plan and achieve goals! Give us eyes to SEE, Father, and an enduring spirit to run the race set before us! Amen

20.01.2010, 2:16 pmRebekah and I have been blessed many times already during this fast. I was “rewarded” at work with a promotion to a small extent. Rebekah was told she would no longer have to work nights or weekends but maybe once a month. HALLELUJAH! And, she had almost $200 in her old unemployment account that we didn’t know about. Blessed to be a blessing!
Since we got our iPhones, we were able to bless a girl at my work with Rebekah’s old iPod. She was ecstatic!
My car is still running…hallelujah for that!!
My parents were even blessed from a guy my dad used to do side jobs for. Out of nowhere, he came and gave them $500, which is the exact amount they figured they still needed to move. My mom called me crying and her and my dad (who is tottering on the line of Christianity) were in total shock and awe. My mom knew it was God and my dad couldn’t help but agree. They’ve been blessedn a lot as of late, through their extremely rough past year.
Nothing “big”, but always at the right time or the exact thing needed. God is great and is willing to pour out abundantly. I for one have taken this fast a LOT more seriously than the last one (I couldn’t get over the food, ha, pathetic I know), and God is responding! 2009 a year of struggle. 2010 a year of victory, overcoming and outpouring!!
Open up the heaven’s and pour out Your blessings. Over abundantly; overtake us with Your blessings Lord!!
